Titled “The Weaving Trade of Dunfermline in the 18th and 19th Centuries” Catherine will present her research into how the Scottish town of Dunfermline became a leader in the production of Damask — woven fabric of silk, wool, linen or cotton fibre with a pattern which can be viewed from both sides of the material.
