Silver Chanter Labour Weekend Competition

Every October, during Labour Weekend, the Highland Piping Society of Canterbury hold one of New Zealand’s premier solo piping contest. These competitions are held at St Andrew’s College in Christchurch with the Novice to B Grade events held on the Saturday, the MSR Silver Chanter event on the Saturday evening, all Open Grade events on the Sunday and the MMSSRR Clasp event on the Sunday evening.
