VUW Wellington Scottish Interest Group-The Scottish settlers of the barque Blenheim

In December 1840 around 200 Scottish settlers, mostly from Lochaber and Skye, with a contingent from Paisley and Glasgow, landed at Kaiwharawhara (established the first Scottish settlement in New Zealand there) from where they spread throughout the country.
