VUW Wellington Scottish Interest Group-Ayr schoolmaster John Bonar’s Commonplace book (1649-72)

John and his son amassed an amazing collection of miscellaneous material – from literary quotes to lists of house chattels, all copied into this book (over 1,600 pages) – probably started as a schoolmaster’s compendium (recently digitized).
