VUW Wellington Scottish Interest Group: Old Homelands – New Homelands: Scozia e Italia

Wars and the kindness of strangers are an unexpected combination, but in the 16th and 20th centuries they resulted in the establishment in new homelands–by Scots in Italy and by Italians in Scotland. It is 75 years since the end of WWII. These stories demonstrate how “man to man” can “brithers be” (Burns) at the Victoria University of Wellington Law School, Old Government Buildings, Lambton Quay.
