VUW Wellington Scottish Interest Group: The Declaration of Arbroath was signed 700 years ago

This very important document was sent to the Pope requesting recognition of Scotland’s sovereignty and that of its king. A Strathclyde University Project is exploring various aspects of the document and tracing the genealogy of the 48 people whose names are included in the text. The University has generously agreed to share some of the findings from their research at the Victoria University of Wellington Law School, Old Government Buildings, Lambton Quay.
